The SSAA Long Range Shooting Club brings together long range enthusiasts across Victoria and beyond, competing under FCSA rules at 600yd and 1000yd events — including the FCSA 1000yd Australian Titles at Warracknabeal.
Formed in Mildura on 13 June 2013, the club was approved by the Victorian Firearms Registry on 3 August 2014 as an approved club for Long Range Shooting in Victoria.
Proudly affiliated with the Fifty Calibre Shooters Association since 2015.
Currently shooting up to 600yd and 1000yd events on the SSAA Mildura Cardross Range and the Warracknabeal Rifle Club Range.
FCSA and Long Range Shooting Club events are approved competitions in New South Wales and Victoria, and we are currently seeking approval in Western Australia. We're looking for interested shooters to help form a new SSAA or affiliated group around Sydney, and in other areas of Victoria. We welcome enquiries from other areas of NSW and other states — if we can build enough interest, we'll help establish new clubs. Suggestions on how to grow this sport are always welcome, and new members to the SSAA are encouraged.
